Steamed Porkribs with Farmented Black Beans
Ingredients
1Kg Porkribs
Spring onions
Optional-
Taro (deep fried till taro turn brown and have a slight crust to prevents it from becoming mushy after steaming with the porkribs)
Part 1
Marinate Porkribs for at least an hour with
2 tablespoons of baking soda(use baking soda to tenderize the porkribs)
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon of cornflour
Add abit of water to dissolved the baking soda, thereafter rinse the meat thoroughly to remove all the baking soda etc. get ready for Part 2
Part 2
2 tablespoons light soya sauce(+/-)
1 tablespoon sesame oil(+/-)
1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine(+/-)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar(+/-)
1/2 teaspoon pepper(+/-)
Marinate porkribs overnight with
5-6 cloves garlic peeled & minced
2 tablespoons fermented black beans(+/-)
Pressure Cooker- Steam mode
Pressure 10 for 30 minutes
Add Water
P.S good to marinate overnight
