【World's largest ro-ro passenger vessel completes trial run in Guangzhou】The world's largest ro-ro passenger vessel has completed its trial voyage in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, earlier this week.
And the trial proved that the luxury vessel is qualified for maritime navigation, according to a statement released by Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Ltd on July 21.
The luxury ship is expected to be delivered for use by the end of August, said the statement.
The vessel which has 13 decks includes 533 luxury guest rooms and 5-storey garages has a vertical height close to 40 meters, equivalent to a 10-storey building, added the statement.
It is designed for 2,500 passengers and 800 vehicles and dubbed as a "mobile luxury hotel at sea".
All the materials for interior decoration are made in China and its design and interior decoration can compete with those of a luxury cruise ship, it said.
