在聽聞佛法時,很重要的就是要正確地來聽聞,這時候要避免三種器皿般的過失,就是三種聽法的逆緣,同時還要具備六種想的順緣來聽聞。譬如佛陀在經典當中,不斷提醒弟子:「汝今諦聽,極善思惟,善思念之。」這都是要告訴聽法者,要斷除像三種容器般的過錯。
