R.I.P.[蠟燭]
p2,p3 Queen with her corgis
Queen Elizabeth II was patron of more than 600 charities and organizations during her 70-year reign, including the Royal Humane Society.
Her passion for corgis was synonymous with the monarch, who passed away today at the age of 96.
May she rest in peace.

At dusk, I wrote a letter to Ma Jiaqi
with the afterglow of the sunset and the romance of the galaxy, and sent it to tenderness itself. 我在黄昏上写一封书信 载着落日余晖和银河浪漫 寄给马嘉祺 寄给温柔本身!

Something in the Window
CSVPA MA Showcase 2022
Espacio Gallery / 159 Bethnal Green Rd, London E2 7DG
13th September – 18th September from 12.00-20.00
Private view 12.00-21.00 Thursday 15th September
Something in the Window is the final exhibition of dynamic creative practice emerging from the MA programmes at the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.
This class of 2022 presents an international group of visual artists, designers and communicators, coming together at Espacio Gallery to showcase innovative ideas and unique perspectives, developed across fields of Art and Design, Fashion Branding & Creative Communication, Visual Communication, Graphic Design and Illustration & Animation.
The title of the exhibition is Something in the Window. We wanted a theme that conjures the experience of something unexpected catching one’s eye, providing the impetus to find out more; we wanted to invite others to peer through an aperture, to glimpse a world on the other side; we wanted to suggest a sense of transparency and the quality of openness, qualities that cohere the diversity of our practices.
Windows have a long history as a resonant motif in art: they serve to illuminate darkness, often symbolising hope, opportunity, or alternative paths. Charged with psychological power, they are suggestive of desire, and frame perspectives on the world. In dreams, their presence can be interpreted as seeing clearly, even providing intimation that future ideas will come to fruition, encouraging boldness in action. In spiritual terms, windows imply that if one gathers enough strength, obstacles can be overcome.
What ‘something’ will you see in the window? Please join us to find out!
