Algeria, Mauritania expected to promote bilateral relations to complementarity, partnership
NOUAKCHOTT (Mauritania)- Algeria and Mauritania are expected to bring their bilateral relations to a level of complementarity and partnership, in line with the desire of their respective leaders, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane said Wednesday in Nouakchott.
Co-chaired with his Mauritanian counterpart, Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the opening of the 19th session of the Algeria-Mauritania Great Joint Commission on Cooperation, Benabderrahmane said the commission met in line with the instructions given last December by the leaders of the two countries, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
The instructions show the commitment to raise the bilateral relations to the level of complementarity and partnership, in the best interests of both countries and the aspirations of both peoples for more cooperation and solidarity.
Stressing that many achievements were made in terms of cooperation and partnership between Algeria and Mauritania, Benabderrahmane put forward the importance to further develop them.
Relations of cooperation and partnership between the two countries recorded over the past few years a "significant development in several fields," he underlined.
The Prime Minister cited the opening, in August 2018, of a joint border post, which has become today a "human and cultural link between the populations of border areas."

Worry is a stagnant thought, connected with insecurity. Prejudice is a thought colored by previously held concepts. For a progressive outlook, we should have strong roots & also be open to new ideas.
忧虑是一种停滞不前的思想,与不安全感有关。 偏见是一种被以前持有的概念所影响的思想。对发展中前景的展望,我们应该有坚实的根基,同时也要对新思路持开放态度。
