【#日本首家妖怪博物馆#开馆:5000多件珍贵资料带你穿越时空感受妖怪世界[憧憬]】Japan's first museum of folklore monsters opened in the city of Miyoshi in Hiroshima Prefecture on Friday, attracting huge crowds from across the country to experience the world of traditional Japanese monsters (known as "yokai" in Japanese) through historical artifacts and interactive installations. The museum opened to the public after Koichi Yumoto, Japan's premier collector of yokai art, donated some 5,000 items from his collection back in 2016. The western Japanese city is famous for being the setting where an old folk tale from the Edo period (1603-1868) took place. Named "Ino Mononoke Roku," the story revolves around how a 16-year-old boy confronts yokai monsters in 30 days. (Photos via NHK News Web)
