带着唱歌的来,带着筑巢的来;
给埋在地下的花朵儿一个梦;
从一片白茫茫底下露出深棕;
请冲洗我的窗,使它流动;
让墙上的画幅晃个不停;
To The Thawing Wind
Come with rain. O loud Southwester!
Bring the singer, bring the nester;
Give the buried flower a dream;
Make the settled snowbank steam;
Find the brown beneath the white;
But whate'er you do tonight,
Bath my window, make it flow,
Melt it as the ice will go;
Melt the glass and leave the sticks
Like a hermit's crucifix;
Burst into my narrow stall;
Swing the picture on the wall;
Run the rattling pages o'er;
Scatter poems on the floor;
Turn the poet out of door.

"Sometimes I think that in an ideal world,three children,aged 12,ten and eight,would be dropped on us and we would be great parents for that family."
(The Guardian,1998)
"If I had children,I'd like to think I'd let them wear
whatever they wanted.None of my friends would
believe me,but I'd let them walk down the road in pink Lurex and gold plastic."
(Unreel Magazine,2001)

1. Such an absurb decision. You must be in jest.
2. Foolish choice. How could I be so shortsighted then?
3. For someone who can even betray himself…Whatever……
4. Let’s hope that you are worthy of such a choice.
5. Wait!Not like this.
6. This will not be the end of it. I shall seek revenge…
7. You will regret this.
