The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia officially opens the registration for the 2023 Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship (IACS). This year, this program offers an opportunity for foreign nationals to study Indonesian cultural heritage in one of the local art centers in Bali, West Sumatera, East Kalimantan, and East Java.
Started in 2003, The Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship (IACS) is a flagship program of the public diplomacy of Indonesia on arts and culture that provides a non-degree scholarship for the young generation to learn in person about the arts, culture and local wisdom of Indonesia.
IACS will take place from 1 June to 18 August 2023 with the theme “Indonesia, Home of Diversity”. At the closing of the scholarship program, all awardees shall perform in art and cultural night entitled “Indonesian Channel” in West Sumatera.
The application should be received by the Indonesian Embassy by 27 March 2023 (the latest).
