Attaf, Saudi counterpart agree to continue efforts to boost joint Arab action
ALGIERS-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud stressed, during a telephone call, the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen joint Arab action, said Thursday the Ministry in a communiqué.
"The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf received a phone call from his brother the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, brotherly country, his Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, who congratulated him on his appointment as Foreign Minister, wishing him full success in his missions," said the source.
On this occasion, the two FMs discussed the Algeria-Saudi Arabia relations marked "by a historical brotherhood, cooperation, solidarity, and mutual support between the two countries and brotherly,” expressing their willingness to ensure the adequate preparation of the next bilateral events to serve the common goals in the political and economic fields.”
The two FMs expressed "their satisfaction with the great convergence of the positions of the two brotherly countries on the main issues of common interest at the regional and international levels, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to boost joint Arab action, especially since Saudi Arabia will be entrusted with the presidency of the Arab summit by Algeria at the next summit in Riyadh," the same source said.

Algeria will never abandon Tunisia, target of plot
ALGIERS-The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune said that Algeria "will never abandon Tunisia", target of a conspiracy hatched by several parties, and supports the Tunisian President, Kais Saied, elected by his people.
