Leadership is the main factor that influences the success or failure of change. Basic psychological needs might be the key to change management success or failure. Exploring the leader's personal experience of change can give insight into the underlying mechanisms and basic psychological needs for failure and success. This study examines the experiences of leader's satisfaction or frustration with their basic psychological needs influenced by success and failure factors of organizational change in a multi-crisis context by using the qualitative research approach of qualitative content analysis.
