《红菱艳》是一部1948年9月6日在英国上映的歌舞爱情电影,其实对歌舞片并无偏爱,只是这部电影在各大导演和权威排名里经常见到,好奇心让我记住了这个片名,刚好看到有画质比较好的版本就打开来看看。很难相信这是76年前的电影,实在是远远超出我的预期,所有我看到的、听到的和感受到的都足以让它成为跨越半个多世纪仍令人惊叹的优秀作品,难怪能让阅片无数的马丁斯科塞斯和众多影评人念念不忘:它是马丁·斯科塞斯的Top10片单第二位;戴斯·冯·施勒·梅耶 Top10第二位;《视与听》评选的影史top250第121名;影史最伟大英国电影TOP10的第三位。本片还曾获第21届奥斯卡多个奖项,第13届威尼斯电影节金狮奖,第6届美国金球奖等奖项。
由于本片实在是太有名,相关文章很多,我就不多做评论了。简单说几句吧,导演鲍威尔真的是眼光独到,在为《红菱艳》选角时他就说要找一个真正的舞者,即使只是站在那里就能看出她的职业,哪怕对于电影圈来说那会是一个完全陌生的新面孔,他从见过的上百名芭蕾女演员里看中了Moira Shearer,虽然当时的英国皇家芭蕾舞团团长极力向他推荐的是Margot Fonteyn,鲍威尔也毫不动摇。事实证明他的坚持是对的,Moira Shearer不管是作为一个芭蕾舞演员还是电影演员都无可挑剔,只要她出现的画面除了美就是更美,哪怕是她伤心痛苦的时候也是惹人怜爱的。最让我美到失语的除了那段十六分钟的芭蕾舞表演以外,就是她穿着蓝色礼服、头戴蓝白玻璃皇冠去城堡找舞剧创作团队的时候,那不就是仙女本仙吗?那场景和童话故事里一模一样。
男主芭蕾经理Lermentov由奥地利演员安东·沃尔布鲁克(Anton Walbrook)扮演,他的外型、气质和女主一样几近完美,只是他这个角色更复杂一些,处世老练、冷酷无情却只为了Page柔软。在人物性格刻画完成之后,随着事态发展和情感变化展现出了柔情动人的一面:当他得知Page与作曲家相恋时,连自己都不敢相信会有这样的情感出现在他身上,不可置信混合着因爱而生的愤怒和悲伤;当得知Page也来了Cannes时,他赶到火车上与她相见,戴着墨镜来掩盖抑制不住的欢喜;看到日思夜想的那张脸庞时舍下骄傲的性子对Page温言软语劝说她重回舞台;在演出后台与作曲家言语对决时的激烈碰撞,那是与挥剑决斗定生死相比也毫不逊色的剑拔弩张;得知噩耗时,他站在剧场的角落,想着本应在聚光灯下出现的心上人,昔日骄傲不羁的脸早已是泪痕满面。不知他此刻是否会想起Page说的那句话:我曾经一度想过,在我生命里除了跳舞一事外,容不下一切其他事情。l thought once that there would be no room in my life for anything but dancing.

During my client Rose's first appointment we covered a lot of ground, but one simple movement such as the one pictured above, can decrease—in an instant the level of strain you are placing on your body. Which of these pics go with the above head positions??
This simple straw example shows you the changes the "tubes in your neck" go through when you alter head position. What's the big deal? Well, let's look at what normal processes happen in the cervical neck. There are three main ones...blood flow, airflow, and the movement of food. Now, air is going to get through pretty well no matter the curve (just like a straw), but blood and food are a different story.
When you change the geometry of a blood vessel, you increase the risk of plaque accumulation in that area. When blood cells accelerate around a corner, the cells (which have sharp edges compared to the thin-celled walls of the blood vessels) end up hitting and injuring the wall of the curved vessel. This wounded wall now makes a scab of plaque to heal, which starts to limit the tube size and reduces the quantity of blood, and starts the injury/plaque formation cycle. Ideally, blood flow should be down fairly straight hallways. Imagine rolling a ball down a curved hallway. It's most likely to run smack into the wall in front of it, and not make the curve...especially a curve that is not supposed to be there! Not motivated yet? Then let us consider food. The muscle action of moving food down is fairly minimal. It's really not that hard to move things down, as gravity is going that direction anyhow. But look at the bent straw. Your food is hardly moving straight down...it's moving almost across! So now you have to create a lot of excessive muscle force in the throat to contract to move food without the aid of gravity. Food that does not move quickly through this area increases the risk of choking. According to the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AH-CPR), 6.2 million Americans over the age of sixty are suffering from swallowing problems. The causes of this issue are thought to be neurological, or a result of stroke, but to eliminate a mechanical contribution to the problem, try the exercise Ramping Up.
Without lifting your chin, slide your face back like you are making a double chin until your ears stack up over your shoulders. You instantly increase the alignment of your cervical spine and decrease the mechanical damage to the blood vessels in the neck and muscles in the throat. It's a great movement to relieve the strain on the small muscle of the neck that can lead to headaches, disk problems, and "foggy head.”
