Al Pacino as Al “Big Boy” Caprice in Dick Tracy (1990)
- Because we are for the people. And if you ain’t for the people, you can’t BUY the people. Lincoln.
今天随便搜搜影片资料,才知道,Big Boy这个人物,是loosely based on Al Capone。

As it spoke, I discerned, obscurely, a child’s face looking through the window. Terror made me cruel; and, finding it useless to attempt shaking the creature off, I pulled its wrist on to the broken pane, and rubbed it to and fro till the blood ran down and soaked the bedclothes: still it wailed, ‘Let me in!’ and maintained its tenacious gripe, al-most maddening me with fear. ‘How can I!’ I said at length. ‘Let ME go, if you want me to let you in!’ The fingers re-laxed, I snatched mine through the hole, hurriedly piled the books up in a pyramid against it, and stopped my ears to exclude the lamentable prayer. I seemed to keep them closed above a quarter of an hour; yet, the instant I listened again, there was the doleful cry moaning on! ‘Begone!’ I shouted. ‘I’ll never let you in, not if you beg for twenty years.’ ‘It is twenty years,’ mourned the voice: ‘twenty years.

Tawakkul is more than saying It is to put your newborn son inside a basket and place it in a river. It is to place the slaughter knife at your son's throat. It is to migrate from your homeland while your enemies are plotting to murder you. It is to be stuck inside the belly of a whale. It is to be thrown into a well by your own blood. It is to believe Allah is Al-Wakeel, and that even if the whole world turned against you, nothing will be able to harm you because you have Allah by your side. It is to pray and believe that you will fight all the odds not because you have the strength to do so but because your strength comes from Allah. It is the conviction that no matter what happens, everything is a part of Allah's Divine plan and a story written by the Best of Writers could never have a hopeless ending.
