每周一是我们的旅行日,就是逛市场日[挤眼]。一是躲开周末的喧嚣,二是每周一次的大补给正好从周一开始。开始做实验室以后,逛市场都逛出旅行的感觉。带着些新学的知识,新的创意灵感,遇到新鲜的时令,等待定期光顾的小店出新,乐趣还甚于原来车马劳顿走马观花的所谓旅游。经过长期测试,我们有四家不同的market tour destinations,正好一周一个地儿,各有千秋。今天,虽然天气大热,但仍然兴致勃勃,驱车40公里,去海滨。扯远一点,这一年减少旅行的原因,是发现:没有专业的旅行,都是瞎逛。而Cook&Book的写作,员外"餐桌上的食物","田野中的食物"和"市场、食物和人"的项目,让尽在咫尺的出行,都变成了能不断深入的旅行。
