Junior ist in der Schuler. Es ist Zeit für das Mittagessen. (Junior is at school. It is time for lunch.)
J: Hallo, Frau Lange! Ich bin sehr hungrig. (I am very hungry.)
L: Hallo, Junior. Es gibt heute Fisch. Möchtest du mit dem Fisch Salat oder Pommes? (There is fish today. Do you want fish with salat or French fries?)
J: Ich liebe Pommes und Salat. (I love French fries and salat.)
L: Du kannst nur eins haben, Junior. (You can only have one)
J: OK, Pommes sind sehr lecker... Und mein Tag ist sehr stressig... Aber Salat ist wirklich gesund. (OK, French fries is very delicious... and my day is very stressful... but salat is really healthy.)
L: Junior...
J: Aber ich kann nur eins haben... Ich will den Salat! Nein! Die Pommes! Warten Sie... Ich weiß es nicht! (But I can only have one... I want the salat! No! The French fries! Wait... I don't know!)
L: Junior!
J: Oh! Ja, Frau Lange?
L: Hier! Dein Mittagessen! Fisch mit Pommes und Salat. (Here! Your lunch. Fish with French fries and salat.)

L: Warum hast du so viel Essen, Bea? (Why do you have so much food, Bea?)
B: Meine Familie kommt zum Abendessen. (My family is coming for dinner.)
L: Ooh, kann ich ein Stück Kuchen haben? (can I have a piece of cake?)
B: Nein. (No)
L: Aber du hast drei Kuchen. (But you have three)
B: Ich brauche die drei Kuchen. (I need the three cakes)
L: OK. Kann ich ein Glas Wein haben? (can I have a glass of wine?)
B: Nein.
L: Aber du hast vier Flaschen Wein! (But you have four bottles of wine!)
B: Ich brauche viel Wein. (I need a lot of wine)
L: Kann ich ein Stück Pizza haben? (Can I have a piece of pizza?)
B: Nein, Lin.
L: OK. Um wie viel Uhr kommt deine Familie heute? (what time is your family coming today)
B: Oh, meine Familie kommt nächste Woche. Das ist alles für mich. (Oh, my family is coming next week. This is all for myself.)
L: Für dich?! (For urself?)
B: Meine Familie ist sehr schwierig! Ich bin total gestresst! Ich brauche das ganzen Essen und den ganzen Wein jetzt. (My family is very difficult! I am totally stressed out! I need all the food and all the wine now.)

I want to take the initiative to decide how time is spent, not passively let it disappear because of various eye-catching things. This is my wish for this year. The second wish is that I can find joy in using German.
Ich will aktiv entscheiden, wie Zeit verbracht wird, und sie nicht wegen verschiedener auffälliger Dinge passiv verschwinden lassen. Das ist mein Wunsch für dieses Jahr. Der zweite Wunsch ist, dass ich Freude am Umgang mit Deutsch finde.
