surface.
Photographer, scientist, gardener – you name it – astronauts wear many hats in space!
Living on an orbiting laboratory away from Earth doesn’t mean you’re away from day-to-day responsibilities. Astronauts aboard the @iss can be responsible for several duties each day, including their science and maintenance tasks. Their unique perspective from 250 miles above Earth is not only beautiful but also beneficial to the advancement of our missions. But it isn’t always all work and no play aboard the International Space Station, astronauts also have an opportunity to indulge in the same hobbies and pastimes they enjoyed while on the ground.
