每次出发前带着行李箱都要去的面包店

.
终于我踏上了留学的艰辛之路,即将开始在英国的美食荒漠之旅。在出发当天的早上,还是带上了自己的登机箱来吃手工面包
//
当天早上本来只是阴郁的天气,在我进到店里准备摸摸门口的小流浪的时候,一下就下大了,气温也有了大幅度下降⬇️

外套:since then
套装:since then

Most of us get to know each other over a year now through the Ed for Growth, an online educational community, which founded by Ruohao (Lancer) Chen from the Teachers College (TC), Columbia University during the pandemic since March 2020. Finally, we are meeting each other in-person today for the first time. Besides Xiaoxue’s husband and myself, the rest of them are either current or alumni of TC graduate students. Maybe this is a calling that I should also get another degree from TC. Great to see everyone today!

SHIRLEY TEMPLE
Shirley Temple (1928 ~ 2014) transitioned from an extremely popular child star during the 1930s to a young adult and then adult star during the 1940s. She retired from films at the ripe *old* age of 21 after her 1949 films - (after 18 years in the film business). She co-starred with Cary Grant and Myrna Loy in the funny classic "The Bachelor And The Bobby-Soxer" (1947) and with Claudette Colbert and Jennifer Jones in the classic drama "Since You Went Away" (1944). (See our previous 1930s spotlight on her as well).
Temple's other films during the 1940s included: "Fort Apache" (1948) with John Wayne, Henry Fonda and husband John Agar (married from 1945 to 1950), "I'll Be Seeing You" (1944) opposite Joseph Cotten and Ginger Rogers, "Miss Annie Rooney" (1942) with Dickie Moore, "Mr. Belvedere Goes To College" (1949) with Clifton Webb and Tom Drake, "The Blue Bird" (1940) with Spring Byington, Nigel Bruce and Gale Sondergaard, "Honeymoon" (1947) with Franchot Tone and Guy Madison, "Kathleen" (1941) with Herbert Marshall and Laraine Day, "Adventure In Baltimore" (1949) with Robert Young and Agar, "A Kiss For Corliss" (1949) opposite David Niven, "Young People" (1940), "Kiss And Tell" (1945), "That Hagen Girl" (1947) and "The Story Of Seabiscuit" (1949).
Between 1958 and 1961 Shirley hosted and narrated a successful anthology TV series called 'Shirley Temple's Storybook'. She later entered politics and became U.S. Ambassador to Ghana (1974 - 1976) and was appointed the first female Chief of Protocol of the U.S. (1976 - 1977). She also served as the U.S. Ambassador to Czechoslovakia (1989 - 1992). Shirley's second husband was Charles Black and they were married from 1950 until his passing in 2005. They had three children. Shirley passed in 2014 at age 85.
