When something arises out of nothing,
When consciousness produces intellect,
When intellect begets soul,
When soul creates matter,
All becomes visible and within touch.
When we rise every day toward a new life,
Have we ever wondered that this new life is only transient?
The sun hangs high up in the unknown territory,
Shining tirelessly since the beginning of time.
We start out in the morning, driven by our ambition,
And leave our children and beloved ones behind.
When night comes, and we drag home our exhausted bodies to comfort our neglected family,
Have we ever inquired into our original intention?
The world is changing yet constant,
Our endeavors won’t affect a bit.
Sunshine, you are my light at daytime,
And the demure Luna of the moon soothes my night spirits.
In brightness I find myself,
In myself I find you.
You are my sunshine, for ever, showering energy all over existence.
Never have I doubted the source of my strength,
Nor the purpose of your footprints.
Fate binds us on this planet earth.
One day liberated are your hands,
From those you cherish as sacred.
My wings are crafted for you,
Carrying us near and far,
Which is my unwavering promise.
Incessantly I’m praying,
During meditation and in sleep,
For all the wonderful luck to come your way in silence.
Confident I feel, as sure as I’m with fingers,
Which are crossed for you, always.
